ok.  i'm gonna try and do this.  i'm gonna give up my sierra mist and my kool-aid (don't laugh) and my milk.  this time.  but only this time.  HOWEVER, i'm gonna need some support if i'm gonna make it 'til april.  i know i can count on my jarks to get me through.  right?

sorry if there's a post for this, but i couldn't find one.  anybody else doin' this?

our church is! originally it was just going to be the high school group that i pastor but we got the middle school and young adults group in on it too. everyone's really excited about it!

I'm in! I drink *way* too much Diet Coke, and I've given that up for Lent before, but I always had other beverages to use as substitutes. So this is much more difficult, but so far I have a perfect record.

I am doing it.
Along with some JoC fans from Brazil I am friends with and people who joined us, but are not JoC fans.

I am doing ok so far, but I am really missing milk and juice and sprite and coffee.

It's been really tough for me so far. I never realized how much I crave soda and juice and 'other' beverages *cough*. But I guess that's the point. It's been a great exercise in dying to self in order to serve others and strengthen your own faith in the process.
