So, is anyone else doing this? It looks incredible!! I got accepted today. I am excited and nervous at the same time. It will be a lot of work and a lot of exhaustion, but all for a great cause!! To be able to bring clean water to people by biking across the country is just awesome.

Congrats, girl!!!  If I was 20 years younger and didn't have a child at home and didn't work for the Air Force, I'd love to join you...lol.  I will live vicariously through you, if that's o.k...

I believe you will be riding along with Donald Miller and the legendary David Van Buskirk who hiked the Appalachian Trail for BWM... Enjoy...

Good luck and have fun too...my school does a similar bike ride from Galveston, TX to Alaska every year called Texas 4000 that supports cancer research.  I've had friends and will have friends going this year.  Long bike rides seem fun .

Good luck Criselda! I see that the route takes you through my neck of the woods, so if you need anything just holler!  And I'll see if I can find any volunteer opportunities at the Kingsport stop since it's closer than b.burg.

Criselda - i say you are a mad, mad, crazy woman.  but anyone who has thrown a good monsters release party is just crazy enough to ride a bike all across the US.  what a way to spend your summer break!  Good luck
