I don't want to sound like the town whiner here, but the quality is so bad I can't even listen to these, same as last one's. I would much rather wait until the year is over and have them release something polished for sale. I get why they are doing it, but the quality is so 1970's bootleg.

Was the last one for sale/freebie?  I never saw it.  If anyone could send a link, I would appreciate it.

As for your comment, I'd love to have polished ep's of all the albums for sale officially.  I'd be all over it.  It would be nice if the between song banter was mixed a bit louder.  It makes the music level a bit too overpowering.

While I'm at it, I'd put a plea out for all albums on vinyl that have never been released on that format.

I figure this is as good a time as ever to remind folks that we post this stuff on the main site [smile]

Here's the post with the Self-Titled download widget: http://jarchives.com/site/2014/02/07/free-20th-anniversary-stageit-download/

As far as the quality of the recordings go, I don't think there should be any expectation that these EPs be anything more than what they are. They're standing around a microphone playing acoustic instruments for a webcast. Personally, I love this kind of stuff - we already have the studio recordings and more polished live performances like Daytrotter or Eastside Manor, so it's cool to hear something a little rougher around the edges.
