Hey Everyone! The Jars Dolls are going to help us raise money for the Jark Well Project! They had a great time in Washington and we wil be posting pictures of their adventures in the Pacific Northwest all week, so keep watching! My computer is broken at the moment, so with the help of Criselda, we will keep everyone updated! The Jars Dolls will be flying out of Washington tomorrow and heading for sunny California! I wonder what they will be doing there?....stay tuned..........

Yes.... pics from CA will also be posted throughout the next couple weeks. So, keep looking this thread up!

Also-- share these pics with friends, so upcoming posters and the upcoming 2nd set of dolls will be popular and sell well. All money raised from the dolls go to BWM!

I really like the page with all the different ideas/ways to raise money on differnet levels ~ something that EVERYONE can do
My son and daughter have been doing a couple of those and they're 6 & 8 years old

I showed my daughter the BWM site last night and today she is thinking of things to do.  She is really interested in helping.  We'll see what she comes up with.

the same exact way that an american can   it doesn't matter what country you're in, the need in Africa is still there and voicing this to others can be very helpful.

Yup, dido Criselda!

That's what Live 8 was for... getting the word out to 8 different country leaders about the situation in Africa.

It'd be great to get support from different countries around the world!

Congratulations to Arden for being the first official "Jark" to send in her donation for the Jark Well Project! I will send her really cool neoprene bracelets next week along with a "special" surprise for being the first! Any other Jarks who would like to participate in the this well, please feel free too. I will be presenting checks to Jena on the 18th of August at the Lyndon show. Just a heads up that I am bringing the bracelets and they might sell out at the show, so if you want one, now is the time to get them! Come on Jarks...Let's dig a well!

One of the downsides of being a mod is that sometimes I have to play Mr. Law Enforcer. I know the following may sound bad, but I feel the need to cover my behind on this one.

Please be aware that if you choose to donate to B:WM this way you may be giving personal and/or private information to a party outside of Jarchives. Please use caution when giving this information away as we cannot claim responsibility for the protection of it.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions/concerns.

Carry on! We did something like this right when B:WM was first starting and raised around $1200. Let's see if that can be beaten!

Geeves, you're a hoot...like the announcer on the car ads that says the disclaimer so fast no one can hear what he is saying. Gina, I thought I was late getting that to you! Let's get that well going. I realize that probably a lot of fans give regularly to B:W but it would be fun to raise enough $ to a do a Jarks well....at least let's do better then a bucket!

Gina ~ I'm a little confused. I thought the money will be collected and held until we reach enough to build a well?

Marlo, I can't hold checks that long, people would be upset. I have some from last month from some fundraising I did for BWM and I need to get them to her. I am putting them all towards the Jark well. I will keep track of what I send them so we have an idea where we are at in this project. So I will be sending her money every 3-4 weeks, but I won't hold any checks past a month. I am not sure how long it will take us to raise enough money for a well, but I figure if everyone just participates even a little we can do it very easily. Criselda made four shirts for the Vancouver concert and 3 of them sold for $100 each and one for $50. I donated 100 neoprene bracelets and they all sold at $5 each. We were amazed how God works in the hearts of people. I ordered more bracelets so the Jarks could donate and get something, but I am taking them to the Lyndon show to sell for blood:water so If anyone wants some just let me know and I will set some aside. One thing my family is doing to save money for blood:water is we have a pottery jar for blood:water right by our kitchen sink that we put all our loose change in. I find loose change everywhere, in the laundry, in our cars, in pockets, etc. and we put it all in the jar. You would be surprised how fast it adds up! I keep it by the sink so everytime I go to the tap and use fresh clean water I think of Africa and realized how blessed we are and how we take things like clean water for granted.

Dude, I was thinking the same thing!  Oh well...

On a side note Arden, one of my coworkers brings an Arden B. shopping bag to work every day.  I think she uses it to carry her lunch.  I always think of you when I see it.  Too funny...

How is your clothing line doing anyway?
