A lot of folks are in the New Year by now... Hannah and I are hanging around waiting for 06 to arrive. One hour and 40 min to go!

At my age you start saying, "Crap! Another year gone."

I feel ya! I went to bed at 9pm Sunday night just for that reason (and maybe it had a little to do with my son dragging me around Universal Studios all day). Another year has come and gone but I know 2006 is my year! I have 28 more class days to go (Monday - Thursday) AND my house should be finished in the next 2 months!

I've definitely got something to look forward to.

My resolution is to get some writing done this year.

But that was my resolution for last year.

So...

Crap.

It looks like I may need them.  Everyone just keep me in your prayers that I can make some good money once I graduate and get my license so I can afford everything that is coming my way.

All I'm hoping is that 2006 is overall better than 2005. In May, I failed out of grad school. (I did manage to get in elsewhere.) Then, in a span of two weeks, I lost two grandparents.  By the end of the year, things were mostly good, though. Fall 2005 was academically the best semester in a while.

I do have some actual resolutions, such as eating better and worrying less. Some are kind of personal, though.

Yes, Happy New Year to everyone.  I can actually say that I'm getting married this year...how spooky is that?!?!?

This also marks the year of my 10-year high school reunion.  I can't wait for it either.  See, I was one of those immature, flirty jerks back then.  I'm looking forward to showing everyone that I turned out to be a pretty decent guy.  I also can't wait to show off my bride-to-be as well.

I'm getting married this year as well...that was pretty much my thought too. Creepy. Exciting...but creepy. And I may have a high school reunion as well...I should really look into that.

This is the year I turn 25. Exciting, but kind of scary. I don't feel like I've done much with my life yet.
