I am reading the book girl soldier... right now and it's really good, goes right in line with my holocaust studies. meaning i know it is important to read about these things and not just stand by and let them happen and say we can't do anything. We can. the lie that we can not is such a awful one. We should do something.

These are our brothers and sisters. it is what Jesus talks about. it is what we must do.

When he lived it was not easy his people where under roman rule.

it is those who are called remember and become wittiness to these things, if we speak if we remember then we honor those who died. In my life time i have met people.

1. A pastor from Russia who was persecuted for his faith and set to the prison and while there preached the word of god but studied with a Jew who was there as well, his wife was forced to scrub floors while he was in prison.

2. A friend i met named Thomas who his family was killed in Budapest just because they were Jewish. He saw this. For so long after the war people did not want to hear about these things.

3.A uncle of mine who saw the horrors of Dachau, I found this out about two months before he died.

i will remember. i am acting. let me leave you with this if god stood in fount of you now what would you say? would you help or walk away?

will you do something?

So many people want to deny / ignore it ever happend, but the fact is that it is real and did happen!  There are still people lilke Hitler out there today that want to push their will and ways and exterminate someone they don't agree with in principle.  Look at Sudan and Darfur and the genocide / ethnic cleansing going on there...we can no longer afford to ignore this as some day it may reach our shores.
