I love Inland, but the remixes are unlistenable to me. I haven't even made it all the way through one of them...

I rather enjoy the remixes as a fun alternative.  They are creative and sometimes surprisingly clever.  Remixes are an opportunity for other artists to put their own spin on an original song, generally it results in an electronic-ish interpretation, so if that's not really your thing, then it is understandable.  Granted, Inland is amazing and these remixes will not hold a candle to the originals, but it is an enjoyable listen when I'm in the mood!

I only really enjoyed the Pensylvania and Age of Immature Mistakes remixes.  Everything else to me wasn't very great.

As New Math said, they are a fun alternative.  They don't take the place of the original, so they are fine with me.  I won't listen to them all that often, but sometimes they are good, and can be an interesting new take on a song.
