I have come across several artists that record all their shows and then post them on their site for the normal download fee.

Joseph Arthur has done this and I am so thankful.  He was the first guy to be signed to Peter Gabriel label in the 90's.  Yes, I know I am Old.

Joseph did this so fans would not lose out.

I wish Jars Of Clay would do the same.  Concert are quite difficult for me these days.  I am battling a rare form of Leukemia that most people get after 65.  I am in my 40's.  Jars Of Clays music and Hawk In Paris helps me a lot.

Does anyone know the guys??? To bring this up???   It would also raise money for their touring and other costs.  The guys in Jars of Clay should be supported 100%.   If you know of any concerts please let me know.

That would indeed make my day!

God Bless You All

I would imagine that it takes a lot of time and technical expertise to set something like this up. It's awesome for the artists who choose to do this for their fans, but I don't know if everyone can feasibly do it.

The StageIts may provide a similar service to what you are describing; I wish there was a way to purchase the full audio of those for those of us who missed some (or in the case of last night's, attended and still couldn't hear half of it). But you're probably talking about "full band" shows with a current setlist, rather than the walks down memory lane they've been doing on the StageIts.

Not a full band.  Joseph Arthur somehow does it.  He is a independent artist.

By "Full band" I meant a "plugged in" Jars show where they might have a drummer and bassist, i.e. one of their regular concerts. As opposed to the more stripped-down, "unplugged" nature of the StageIt shows, which happen in more of a controlled environment and are being recorded.
