Thanks for your permission to post this. After I had submitted this, I saw that this site has parodies that were posted in the past.

I watch Versus, but the hunt is something else.
Just one shot against this buck, so the hurt is never felt.
I'ld like a campfire, as I'm chilled by the current temps,
but that's hopeless since there's a hunt song in my head.

At the Tube Stop, the deer across from me

Mini Monsters EP

I am from Canada and I used to have a copy of the Min Monsters EP with Love Me on it but my hard drive crashed recently and I lost it. I would gladly purchase it but I can't purchase through itunes b/c I'm in Canada and for some reason it is not offered. So if anyone can help by sending me a copy of this it would greatly appreciated

hey guys. maybe some of you old timers remember me. TonyH, mandojark. Anyways, I just released a solo album. It took me about a year and a half to complete because I'm a poor musician type. And even still...i'm giving it away for free.

so i'd love it if you guys could take a listen...let me know what you think! it's nothing earth shattering...but I know my jark friends have good ears...

hmm. i'll even give you some bonus random Jars of Clay facts that I learned from Matt O. He produced two tracks that my band did in the past. Lets see. Fact 1- When Dan has a song idea he calls up the boys and leaves them voicemails of him just singing out songs or beat boxing drum parts or something that he is all excited about. Fact 2- Steve and Charlie were both excellent saxophone players in high school and college. They've flirted with putting it on songs before but each time they demo out a song and add saxomophone the song usually gets cut officially labeling Steve and Charlie's sax playing skills the kiss of death for a Jars song.

Well that's all I got. Let me know what you think of the tunes guys! It's my first foray into solo work so...don't beat me up too bad!!!

Looking for live footage of Jars: The Eleventh Hour Tour - present day

So I'm working on a project in which I go over my favorite albums from the entire decade (2000-2009) and list my Top 100 albums. Jars of Clay is going to be on that list several times. I thought it would be fun to include, with every album I list, live footage of a song from that album. But good live footage of certain bands is difficult to come by. I've scoured YouTube for good Jars clips, and what I've found has been a bit lacking. So I'm turning to you guys, the fans, to see if you've got anything good or know of anything that's been posted to the net.

Here's what I've got so far, and what I hope to find:

From The Eleventh Hour: I've got "Revolution" from the 11ive DVD. It's better quality than a fan video, but a bit cheesy. I'd love a better version of "Revolution", or, if they ever did the whole thing live, "Silence". I'm open to good versions of almost anything from this disc, though.

From Who We Are Instead: "Show You Love" from Live 8. It's OK, but doesn't really show the band in their element, among their fans. I'd kill for a great live version of "Lesser Things", "Trouble Is", "Jealous Kind", or "Amazing Grace".

From Redemption Songs: A pretty crappy quality video of "I'll Fly Away" from the Music Builds Tour. Mac Powell and Robert Randolph are in it, which is cool. Lots of tone-deaf fans are singing along, which is not so cool. I'd love a better version of this from the same tour, or else a live version of "God Will Lift Up Your Head" or, if they've ever actually performed it live, "Thou Lovely Source of True Delight".

From Good Monsters: A pretty solid live version of "Mirrors & Smoke", but it's interrupted by some cheesy message from a fan to his wife. Did they get to do this live with Leigh Nash before she left the tour? Otherwise, are there good live versions of "Dead Man", "All My Tears", or "Light Gives Heat" floating around out there?

From The Long Fall Back to Earth: I found an acoustic version of "Closer", which is pretty cool because it's an unexpected way to perform that song. I might keep this, but wouldn't mind seeing other live footage from their latest tour if it's high quality.

i'm sure there's a post about this out there somewhere, but, could y'all humor me, please? thanx!

i've heard a lot about songs like 'hero43' and 'blame' and i was wondering how many non-album songs of joc there are out there. as an avid fan (ok, devoted is more like it, 'cause i'm SERIOUSLY lacking in some areas), and a person who finds it near impossible to go to live concerts, i'm interested in learning more about songs or singles they never fully released. as an appeal to avid jarks, anybody got a list?

Creation Festival Tour question

Hey all, I was wondering, based on your experiences with the tour so far, how the CFT concerts stack up vs. straight Jars concerts. Is their performance time meaty enough to be satisfying, or did it seem to be too short? I ask because I'm thinking about going to the Vancouver, WA show in a couple of weeks, but I may hold out for a summer show or two if it seems like they're only playing for 45 mins to an hour.
